Letter To Clients from Your Veterinary Clinic Team (Click here for Curbside Service Protocol)
As we continue to learn more about COVID-19 and the evolving recommendations surrounding businesses, more specifically healthcare providers, the Ark Animal Hospital team has decided to adjust our scheduling and appointment protocols. Our goal remains to provide excellent care to our patients while keeping the health and safety of our team, clients, and community a priority.
We are now conducting Curbside Appointments.. There may be some medically relevant exceptions to the curbside appointments such as euthanasias, acute traumas, and perhaps some other emergent cases. We will be trying to limit the amount and number of human-to-human contact until further notice.
You may have also heard that an Executive Order was released pertaining to the postponement of “non-essential surgeries or procedures,” defined as “...a surgery or procedure that can be delayed without undue risk to the current or future health of a patient.” This is in regards to conserving Personal Protective Equipment that is needed for these tasks. At this time, surgeries or procedures that require us to use this equipment will be rescheduled or postponed. Please trust that your veterinarian will recommend any treatments or procedures with your pet’s best interest in mind, and if surgery is the best or needed option, it will be done.
We thank you and appreciate your understanding and cooperation! This is new territory for all of us, and we will continue to strive to provide excellent care as we navigate through this time together!
